Notice how light plays a dominant role and the detail in the feet. Even though Gilberto states he studies the human body it is clear he also studies light and texture.
This is one of the drawings of Gilberto that captures a subtle facial expression. The model seem to have a "I rather be at the beach" expression.
This drawing of hands on textile shows what happens when light hits various surfaces. Notice the detail in the hands.
This drawing has a little bit of Picaso in it. The celling is actully the floor. Notice the 1980's style floor tile.
